About this site
What is Congress Voices?
Congress Voices is an experiment by the TUC, to show a wider range of perspectives on TUC Congress 2011.
We’re publishing the motions to Congress on this site, to let more people have a say on the important issues up before the conference this year. We’re also scouring the web for comment and perspectives to link to.
How can I get involved?
Discuss the motions: Explore the site and join the discussion. The agenda is divided into seven main sections, which you’ll see on the left. Click on one to see all the motions up for discussion in that area.
Anyone can add comments, though we’re moderating everything before it appears, so you might not see your contribution for a little while.
Blogs: We’re combing the blogosphere to provide links to different perspectives on the event, so you can visit the posts we link to and carry on the discussion there. There’s a combined RSS feed you can subscribe to, so you won’t miss any of it.
Twitter: We’re also highlighting tweets sent to the #TUC11 hashtag. Again we’re moderating these in case your grandmother is reading, but will try to get a good cross-section of the discussion.
Photos: Check out our Flickr stream. If you’d like to share a photo with us for potential inclusion in the stream, send us the link and your description here.
